Affordable Crane Service Moves Greenhouse

Affordable Crane Service Company Moves Greenhouse in Sheridan, OR

Did you know that you can get an affordable crane service with Baker & Baker? We use a 15 ton crane truck with a 70’ out reach and  91’ height reach to help local homeowners and businesses complete tasks. Last week, our team made their way to Sheridan, Oregon, to help a homeowner move their greenhouse.

The approximately 1000 lb greenhouse needed to be moved onto their property. You’re probably asking yourself why a crane was needed for this job. Why not just drag it on the ground? The property owners could place the greenhouse on sliding tracks and move it that way.

While that would technically work, it is not the most efficient way to complete this task. First of all, they would run a high risk of damaging their beautiful lawn. Second of all, the hedge openings were simply too narrow to be cleared easily. Using an affordable crane service was by far the most efficient way to move this greenhouse.

The greenhouse owners had removed the glass from the bottom of the greenhouse. This made it a lot easier for our team to set up their rigging. Using towing straps and a spreader bar, the team made quick work of lifting the greenhouse over the hedge and placing it 50 feet away in it’s new home.

Baker & Baker’s Oregon crane service team is always happy to help local homeowners. We’ve helped our customers move sheds, hot tubs, HVAC units, and more!
