Load Shift Correction Leads to Praise from Customer

Efficient Load Shift Correction Across State Lines Garners Recognition from Customer

The Baker & Baker towing crew was extremely pleased to receive praise from a customer after successfully completing a load shift correction job. The experienced towing company received a call from a customer requesting assistance at the Woodburn weigh scales, located at the port of entry coming out of Washington state and into Oregon state.

The driver had to unexpectedly slam on the brakes, causing the enormous paper rolls he was carrying in his truck to slide forward. Because each large paper roll’s weight was thousands of pounds, he needed the assistance of professionals for the load shift correction.

Baker & Baker promptly responded to his call and a dispatcher quickly sent over an experienced crew to efficiently complete the job. The customer was not disappointed! In fact, he was so impressed with the crew’s professionalism and efficiency, that he wrote Baker & Baker a very positive note after the job was completed.

Receiving praise after a job well done is always appreciated by the Baker & Baker team. They are extremely proud to uphold their excellent reputation and standard of service. Keep up the great work team!

Details of Efficient Load Shift Correction Across State Lines Garners Recognition from Customer

A customer from Woodburn, Oregon recently contacted the experts at Baker & Baker Towing & Crane Service for assistance with a load shift correction. The Baker & Baker dispatcher promptly answered his call and asked for his location and all the relevant information regarding the load shift correction job.

The dispatcher gave the customer an accurate ETA and the load shift correction crew left the Baker & Baker headquarters at 2874 Newberg Highway, Woodburn, OR 97071. They made their way to the load shift correction location across the state lines of Washington state and Oregon state.

The load shift correction job was specifically at the Woodburn weigh scales at the port of entry coming out of Washington state and into Oregon state. The weigh scales are located on the Southbound I-5 and are the first set of scales when you cross into Oregon.

Upon arriving at the location, Baker & Baker assessed the situation before beginning the load shift correction. The customer let them know that he had to slam on the brakes while driving his truck, causing the large paper rolls he was carrying to slide forward.  Each large paper roll’s weight was thousands of pounds. The paper rolls are difficult to secure which is why he shifted when he braked.

The 2 Baker & Baker CDL operators who responded to the call got started on the load shift correction. First, they winched the paper rolls back into position in the trailer. Next, they had the driver roll through the scale again to make sure it was a legal weight. The load shift correction job was completed by the 2 towing professionals efficiently and accurately.

The customer was so pleased with the service of Baker & Baker that the Operations Manager of their company wrote the company a very nice thank you note. The note stated that they were impressed by the professionalism and excellent service of Baker & Baker.
