Rodeo Riders and Roadside Rescues
Every year, the small town of St. Paul, Oregon, comes alive with the excitement of the St. Paul Rodeo. This event is a big deal, drawing thousands of visitors to a town with a population of just 429. This year, Baker & Baker had the honor of sponsoring the rodeo. We went all out to make our presence known. From banners and flags to special services: as a towing company, we were thrilled to be part of this local tradition and offer free St. Paul roadside assistance services and car relocation for visitors.
Supporting the St. Paul Rodeo
As proud sponsors, we created special banners and flags that were prominently displayed around the arena. At the beginning of each event, our flag riders did a lap around the arena, carrying our banner high and proud! It was a sight to see, and we were truly honored to be part of such a longstanding tradition.
Providing St. Paul Roadside Assistance During the Event
In addition to our visible presence, we offered St. Paul roadside assistance throughout the rodeo. We stationed one of our tow trucks at the facility during the highest volume times, ready to help anyone in need. Instead of impounding improperly parked vehicles, we offered free vehicle relocations. We also provided help with the little things that can go wrong with your vehicle on a day out. That included lockouts, jumpstarts, tire changes, and other St. Paul roadside assistance services. Our team provided these services at no charge to the Rodeo visitors. This was our way of giving back to the community that had supported us throughout the years.
Participating in the Parade
The St. Paul Rodeo isn’t just about the rodeo itself. There’s also a parade that draws crowds from near and far. We were proud to participate in the parade with Truck 220, one of our flatbed trucks, along with a restored Ford Model T tow truck. Seeing our vehicles rolling down Malo Ave NE, right off the intersection of River Road NE and Oregon 219, was a proud moment for our team. The crowd loved seeing the vintage tow truck! And we loved showcasing our vehicle to the community.
Supporting a Local Tradition
The St. Paul Rodeo has been a staple of this community since 1935. The event brings people together to celebrate the spirit of the West. Providing St. Paul roadside assistance during the event helped ensure everyone could enjoy the rodeo without worrying about their vehicles. Our team was on hand to assist with any car issues. We wanted visitors to focus on the fun and excitement of the rodeo.
A Truly Memorable Experience for Baker & Baker
Almost all of our team attended the rodeo, and tickets were included in our sponsorship. It was an incredible experience to be so involved in such a major event, and we’re already looking forward to next year. The collaboration with the St. Paul Rodeo was a perfect fit for Baker & Baker.
